any reason how bouncers in society are expected to be bald.

also for some bouncer jobs do they force you to shave fully bald to get the job

and if so dont they hate that becuase they are forced into baldnes for an occupation.

i meanbeign bald genetically sucks but i cant imagine any guy going to be a bouncer and forced to be bald and actually accepting that job.

or maybe many of them get away with a buzz cut.

They're not bald, they're shaved. Anything nw4 and up is bald, shaved or not.

That being said, I hate it when guys with hair shave down to 0. It's like they are proving to every bald guy that they can pull off the look better by the simple fact that they still have a hairline to frame their face. They piss me off more than guys who grow their hair out and style it.

When a full head shaves it is considered a style but when a bald man shaves it is considered damage control....

is it not possible to be totally shave bald if you have hair?

im not sure myself, i thought it was possible to do so, or would they still have an outline?

but yeah i went out one night and a saw a few bouncers that were shaved down with a hairline, i also saw a NW6 clipped down bouncer who was big, maybe mid 30s im not sure, i thougth it was pretty funny seeing a genuine NW6 guy with the NW6 outline pattern being a bouncer.

They probably look tougher that way.

It's not so much so that people don't pull their hair, that's dumb. If your hair is 1cm long, nobody's going to be grabbing onto it. It's because they look tougher, and that deters people from trying anything in the first place.

I think its just a stereotype, like bald weightlifters ...maybe one guy went sly and everyone was afraid of him and then there was a domino effect across the bouncing community. :woot:
