Hi All,

I recently got a haircut (a little bit shorter than normal) and noticed a really thin spot on the crown of my head. I am 24 years old.

Not sure if it is balding or a hair whorl.

I am not sure what to think.

I get my haircut every 3 - 4 weeks and have never noticed this sort of sport on the back - ever. How could balding seem so sudden? Could it be that my hair has been cut extra short? does this is look the beginning of a balding spot or is it a natural whorl?

You will notice some redness on the scalp - this is from a recent sunburn.

I have attatched images as well as images for the rest of my hair to provide context on overall thickness. I have typically been told I have thick hair. Please advise. FullSizeRender (4).jpgFullSizeRender (3).jpgFullSizeRender (2).jpgFullSizeRender (1).jpgFullSizeRender.jpg

Pic three makes it look like you are thinning on the crown for sure. PIc 4 and 5 looks normal.

It looks like your crown is thinning based on these pics. The area affected seems bigger than the usual diameter of a whorl.
