Here's a few pics. What do you guys think? Should I wait and see, or rush and get it taken care of as soon as able?

I feel like not much if any has changed over time, which makes me wonder if I'm just being paranoid, however admittedly the shape of my hairline does look to me a tad like male pattern baldness.

Thanks in advance for help!

You definitely have some loss, whether or not you'll have more is anyone's guess. You never know where it's going to stop. Some people recede to NW2 and stay there, while others go full NW7.

Any opinion on a course of action?

Definitely male pattern baldness. Personally I would get on rogaine ASAP but others would argue to try propecia for a year and see if you need to add rogaine. Also, use ketoconazole shampoo. You definitely need to act, that's 100% male pattern baldness

Thanks for the advice. As much as I'd be curious to try these, I don't at the moment have the money to shell out for those things. I guess I'll try to look at some natural remedies and maybe even get my Thyroid checked before I jump into any serious treatment. God-willing the loss will hold off for a while...

I second this. If you are really worried about it you may want to go ahead and get on propecia too. Otherwise you can wait and see if minoxidil and keto are giving you the results you want. Good luck.

Honestly I'm completely happy with the level of thickness so I doubt Rogaine is really what I need. What would you recommend as the most cost effective preventative treatment? I really don't mind my hair how it is at all, I just don't want it to get worse.

If you don't want it to get worse, then get on finasteride now, and you will more than likely keep what you have until we have a cure. I only suggest minoxidil first in case you can't tolerate finasteride without side effects. That's really all you need to maintain though.

Your thyroid is probably fine man. That is classic male pattern baldness.

Yeah the side effects are what I'm most concerned about. I guess I'll make sure to get in with a dermatologist in the future and see what they think.

Looks flat out like male pattern baldness to me. If a random stranger tells you that then your hair loss is now visible to others which means you lost a lot already. Options -
1. accept it and be happy
2. take pictures and wait for a while to see how it goes
3. start big three and see if it improves.

They will more than likely tell you to get on 1mg finasteride. If you take it you can start out at .25mg to .5mg. Less risk of sides, but for some people it works just as well as 1mg.
