so i have a question. I have always had thin curly hair but for the past couple years it just hasnt looked the same. Now a days its just loads of thin frizzy hair that lets light all the way through. I have a receding hairline so im already experiencing hair loss but the thing thats puzzling me is the fact that you cant see my scalp. When its wet sure you can see abit but not more than any normal person and when its dry theres complete coverage.

Can you thin out without your scalp showing at all? Can the ends of your hair get thinner before the roots?

When i look at pics of most balding men - especially older men - it seems like thinning starts at the root and while they have thick ends of the hair you can see the scalp through the roots. This isnt the case for me.

Any one have any similar experience? Perhaps i just need a better hair cut lol (long and frizzy on top)

Yeh but didnt want to get hopes up

Hair line has recedes a lot and male pattern baldness runs in my family at a young age, also my hairs looks dramtically different to how it used to look in terms of thickness and texture - so was intrigued if you can bald by just losing denisty and not actually show coverage of scalp etc - if not then perhaps its not balding and just shampoo routine etc and naturally thin hair

Stop with this nonsense. You're already receding, so you're balding. And you notice thinning hair, more balding. It just hasn't gotten to the point where you can see your head. Likely because you have curly hair. It'll happen soon enough.

Already started treatment 2 years ago and so was just curious if it was just recession or thinning too.

So was more wondering if anyone else has had a lack of density and an appeared thinning without have their actual scalp become more visible
