I noticed my beard didn't grow as quickly after a while on finasteride. But I saw that as a blessing to be honest!

Nice bit of homophobia there. I think I'm done developing somehow! It didn't make me lose anything, just not grow as quick!

I have not noticed slower facial growth neither at all.ALL of y "sides" have just been downstairs and it might just be imagined since they come and go.

I have been on and off finasteride over the years and I can say from my experience as a hirsuite man that it definitely slows down beard growth on a daily basis. I also find i get a cleaner shave when I'm on finasteride - it seems to make the beard hair less course.

I first took finasteride when I was 39 so I can't say whether or not it affects actually development of beard or body hair in teenagers and young men.

But its only normal for Finasteride to stop body hair and beards growing its basically making you produce more estrogen.

Hey there fella, it will be 4 years in January. I used to get 5 o'clock shadow by lunchtime. Now I only bother shaving very infrequently, which suits me down to the ground as a beard hides my tiny chin

Oh and it's not a hair piece it's the result of lying on my bed upside down, blow drying and back combing before brushing forward. I caught my minor hair loss early and finasteride has helped. I'm the first to admit, my situation is minor, which is why I don't go looking for sympathy. I'm happy with my hair as it is, as believe me it was noticeably worse before starting finasteride. I don't have pictures showing it, as I hated having my picture taken at that point!

I've posted plenty of pictures. Does he think I'm photoshopping them or something? He apparently has gone from NW4 to NW2.5/3 on finasteride, but nobody else can have success on it? I sent him a message saying should we just agree to disagree rather than going round in circles constantly. Not had a reply yet. Like you say, what on earth I would have to gain by lying to a stranger on the internet?

I gave up trying to reason with him specially when he said being very short makes you disabled...now he started a thread and thinks a guy is a virgin at 37 because he is bald...what about people with hair what at virgins at 37 then? he just dont make sense...he is clutching a straws now he really is to win this losing battle specially the one with you and your GF.

who's to say that it wasn't the reason in his particular case? perhaps he had a insecure personality type to begin with, that amplified substantially with hair loss causing him to avoid getting involved with women. in that case role of baldness was at least partial. i think it's a credible explanation.

I delt he is a virgin cause he is bald though all the problems you say he could have he would have regardless so it dont matter really.

Hardly the same thing as "he's a virgin because he is bald". It's total BS to be honest. Apparently the guy is a teacher and a musician who travels a lot a has a life. So the only reasonable explanation for his virginity is hair loss, right? Do you have any idea how many 37 year old virgins would be out there if that was the case? Not to mention he actually looks good. The vast majority of 37 year old, bald and "ugly" looking guys are not virgin which is why this particular case has no meaning at all, aside from being yet another post from a guy felling sorry for himself and his "disability".
