Why do baldies got to out other baldies? We got the best trained eyes too, and we rat each other out. We got to stick together.

I agree 100%. Why do we do this? Does it make us feel better about our situation? It's absurd. Just for the record, I take notice of it, but I'd never do it because I know it would make me feel like sh*t.

Look at Jaime and Louise Redknapp 12 yrs ago they were in the same situation as Posh and Becks yet they choose to live a private life instead of selling out.
[attachment=0:3f5m5hx7]jul22redknapps.jpg[/attachment:3f5m5hx7]
The Redknapps

Jamie Redknapp was never close to Beckham in terms of media attention. He was a good player, compared to Beckham who was a very good/great player. Redknapp also spent the majority of his career injured.[/quote:3f5m5hx7]

Maybe yes Beckham is a better player and his wife is also more famous than Louise, BUT the point is the Redknapps could have have a image that was second to the Beckhams had they gone for all out publicity like the Beckhams did.

David Beckham is by far the most famous and highest earning footballer of the past decade and yet is he the best player? No far from it.
The Beckhams milked their looks and fame for all it was worth creating maximum publicity and advertising anything and everything. If the Redknapps had done the same thing I'm sure that they could have become one of the biggest celebrity couples in the country and earned a fortune but at the expense of their privacy and integrity.

On the contrary, I've read that Beckham has moaned to his wife that he's worried about his hairloss...now this was read in one of the Uk's gossip orientated newspaper 'The Sun' so pinch of salt, but it's doesn't strike me as something you would make up.

I read that, but just because you're rich doesn't mean things don't bother you.

However, I'm sure he'd take his current life with all the money and fame, over a different, modest life with a full head of hair for life.

Yeah, it probably bothers him but its not the same as some single 19 yr old guy with low confidence who's losing it fast and worrying.

I can certainly attest to that S.A.F

But I don't see why we think it's our right or if not right, then alright to dog pile celebrities simply based on the fact that they are rich... Whether or not it has anything to do with the public.

If someone came at you, for a photo shoot.. and offered you like 12 million for a few pics, Would you honestly decline based on principles? Principles of what exactly? How are they taking advantage of anyone that isn't of their own free will allowing themselves to be taken advantage of?

It's like a drug addict blaming the drug dealer. There will always be a drug dealer, because there will always be a drug addict, Not the other way around.

We choose to obsess over these people, it's our own doing that they are able to make much more money then most of them should. But I don't resent them for it, If I was in a balding celebs shoes I wouldn't be any less sensitive because of the size of my bank account.

I'm not arguing that Redknapp is happy to stay quiet and have a quiet life. Good for him. I respect Beckham also, he rarely complains about the media and has made a lot of money in his lifetime.

Arguably he is one of the top players in the last decade. He is paid well because of this and also because he earns football clubs huge amounts of money in image rights. When he joins a club, shirts sales go up massively. He earns less money then he creates, Brand Beckham is a huge asset for any club to have.

But don't let that mistake you, Beckham was a great player and still has the dedication and work rate that many top players don't have.

You are. The white area appears to be.......his scalp.

I doubt Beckham would go out with minoxidil residue on his head. I doubt he even uses it.

If he's been "balding" since 2003, and he's as "bald" as he is now... Maybe he's not "balding" at all??
Are thinning/balding maybe not the same thing?

Precisely :hump:
What we're seeing here is just a example of what happens to most mens hair. He's loosing a small amount of density as he ages. Its perfectly natural maybe over the next few decades he'll lose another 10- 20 % but he'd definatly not headed for a NW6 or anywhere near it even 10/20 yrs from now I'm betting nobody will think of him as bald.
