it's seriously messing up the appearance of my eyebrows
i had a naturally nice shape to my eyebrows, but now it's making the hairs above and aroudn them thicker and making them grow wilder

i'm thinking it's because i apply it in the morning and then touch my hair and face a lot during the day
ive also slept with it a few times accidentally so probably got some on my pillow
also when i workout i sweat a lot and it gets onto my face and brows
i use both foam and liquid, just depends what i get
only use about .5ml total a day, if that

would a better protocol be to wake up, apply it, wait 2 hours then wash it out in the shower, then apply it later at night and wash it out again in the shower

it only needs to be on for a few hours at a time?

or am i absorbing it systemically

it needs to be on your head for atleast 4hrs. So wakeup very early and then apply it as soon as you wake up and then take a shower after 4hrs. In 2hrs you'll still get abt 70-80% absorption. If you're ok with that you can certainly take a shower after 2hrs.

Does it visably drip down your face after applying? As a new user I would get a lot dripping down my face. But by adjusting my technique I don't get any at all dripping now.

I can belive people can ut up with that kind of routine, waking up 4 hours early just to apply that **** on your head and you have to deal with leakage.

im pretty much not gonna be doing anything in the morning for a while
so the routine's perfect

i'm ok with 70% absorption too

how long will it take for my eyebrows to return to normal?
it's definitely a subtle difference, but to me it's very obvious up close especially

Well minoxidil says to apply it twice a day. Are you doing it once in the evenings? I'm fed up doing it in the morning myself. I'd drop it to once a day but I'm afraid I'll get a shed. I already had one last month (or maybe its loss to male pattern baldness..who knows) but it was massive and rapid.

Ive never had a shed. Does that mean minoxidil isn't working for me o_O
saying that like the original poster my eyebrows are getting so thick and they were already thick to begin with.. hopefully these are signs that my hair will maintain/regrow on minoxidil.

Okay, so you've only used it on your hair, but still it made your eyebrows grow. Same thing happened to me, there were some thin hair on the forehead (not much, barely visible) and the eyebrows grew a bit out of their bounds. And my lashes also grew in length.

I don't think I was using Nizoral shampoo at the time, but I can't rule it out.

A small mount of minoxidil will become systemic, I get slightly thicker facial hair and ear hair from it.

You are basically going to have to invest in a pair of tweezers and maybe something to trim with.
