Aggressive case. Hair transplant or Hair system. Or just shave it and accept your defeat for now like @stachu.

Baldness is looking pretty inevitable. Deep recession and mostly miniaturized hairs. You can continue to fight it and probably should give it the full year with minoxidil and dermarolling added to your routine because you don't have much to lose. A hair system will give you your best aesthetic result by a long shot but cost and maintenance would be a serious pain in the ***. Some of those guys are learning to DIY and doing it cheaply. Learn the craft or buzz it and stop giving a f***. A hair transplant is an option but will require multiple sessions throughout your life, be very costly and probably yield mediocre results. You can always try Turkey.

I don't think so, I think it's gotten worse, actually.

How old are you?

I'm 44 and my hair is similar to yours, but I grow it out on top a couple inches, keeping it shorter on the sides and back, and it looks much less bald that way.

Will the frontal area grow?

so am I screwed? I'm trying not to freak out because I have enough anxiety problems as it is, and all I can do is really add minoxidil / get a transplant later, so...

I'm 26, consider yourself lucky 44 year old guy.

Man I dont want to hate but if I had your hairloss I would just shave it because your temple points have huge recession, if they werent you would look a lot better with the same hairline

Shave it or get on dutasteride and Minoxidil on the temporal peaks and hairline for a year with microneedling.

If its stable by then consider a transplant.

Those are the only realistic options, unless you want an AA and grow b**ch tits on bicalutamide or something similar

Don't give up hope just yet.

You've been using it for seven months, for some guys it takes longer.

I'd see about replacing finasteride with dutasteride , and try derma rolling and minoxdil.

I see you've been a member here a lot longer than you've been using finasteride. How old were you when you noticed hair loss?

No treatment, unless he goes on estrogen or cypro or something like that, will ever get him to below a Norwood 3V in my opinion, I think the best option is just trying to go on dutasteride and min+microneedling and then get a transplant to get him to a NW2 with decent coverage

I agree. Try to stabilize, then think about a transplant if a few years pass and the loss has stopped.
