I looked into the whole tattoo deal and it pretty much forces you to shave your head at least every other day if not every day because it looks obvious once the hair grows out even just a little. And be prepared to have a good excuse handy why you never let it grow out even just a little..... and then have to repeat that excuse over and over again.

Currently, there are two kinds of head tattoos....

HIS in europe is not permanent but the hairlines look stenciled and repeat procedures will result in scarring which will prevent being able to use future HM treatments effectively.

Artistry Concepts in Florida, USA tattoos are permanent and although they use ultra fine point precision tools, they cannot guarantee that the tattoo won't discolor or bleed out over time.... although initially the results look fantastic.

Both methods require that you stay out of direct sunlight for about a year after the procedure as repeated sunburns (top of your head is the most exposed to sunlight) can ruin the job.

It is a big decision that I've been tempted to go through myself as the difference/improvement it can make in your appearance is quite drastic.

Hey UCMan, let me know if you decide to take that plunge. Interested in seeing how it works out. I have considered it myself. I do shave my head (with clippers down to 0) every other day so that isn't a big thing to me. Only i guess if you are somewhere where you can't.

However, the images I have seen online where a person with no hair (NW6) had it done didn't look very real to me.

Ok, here are both my eyebrows.

They are actually both desperate for attention and I shall be grabbing the tweezers right after I click "Submit".

Right Brow

Both eyebrows are tattooed but my right brow is the one with the scar and had very little hair past the middle and out to the side. As a result it's much easier to spot the tattoo and hair transplant hairs when the image is taken with a macro lens at this resolution.

Also, the light was not ideal as I'm using my SLR at macro distance facing the wrong way; I'll endeavour to get someone else to take them with better lighting next time :)

As for how long they will last, it's hard to say. All tattoos fade over time and unless you want jet black ink which will look awful for the first few years you're probably looking at about 10 - 15 (at best) years before needing more ink.

You can view both images at full resolution here: (huge files)

You have to admit the idea is pretty ingenius..... hiding out in the open. Who is going to suspect a guy with a shaved head to have fake hair? :dunno:

lol, I did, right after I saw those horrific close ups.

I almost took care of them first and re-posted the pictures, but I felt it gave a more realistic expectation of tattoo + fine hair if I left them all bushy for you guys.

Also, they didn't look nearly that bad at normal distance :)

Why are you guys so freaked out about the fact that the hair tattoo is detectable to the touch? I think if you keep a close shave/buzz most people wont think any of it and even if they do you can just say, 'its a tattoo, looks good huh?'. I mean girls wear make-up, their enhanced skin, eyebrows, eyelashes, lips etc arent real either.

That's actually my view too (and have even said as much in an earlier thread), but to be fair, not all guys have the confidence to shrug it off if it gets noticed.

A lot of areas, social groups etc. will also have an influence so it's reasonable to understand different people will want to approach things like this in different ways.

Why do guys on here keep saying "well women can wear make up ect ...." :dunno:

Its not the same thing - never will be. The rules for men and women are totally different because society has different roles and expectations for men and women.
Its called masculinity and feminity the 2 things are totally opposite!
Next time your skin looks bad just try putting on some concealer and then go down the pub - see what happens!

that wont look good imo for a guy who is already completely bald, it will be noticeable under the sun, or when the head is wet, if you combine that with FUE that might work well (again, its only my opinion) you dont even have to have a complete coverage with the fue, just some for the stubble look, and the tattooed dots will give it the volume it needs.

I know where you come from with the difference between masculine and feminine but first of all we are at a time where a man is no longer its barbaric self. I mean most of modern day men care alot about the way they look, wearing clothes, going to the gym, using hair and face products, waxing their fcking butthole and what not. I take care of the way I look and you can call me feminine but it's probably the reason why I have a really nice pretty girlfriend.

And if your so masculine about everything why the hell are you here?

Women still want a man to be a man and always will. (FACT)
No girl wants to see their man appling moisturiser or waxing. And not that many men are going to the lengths you described anyway. (apart from the wearing clothes bit)

And where did I claim to be so masculine? Ps how many men do you know who wax their butthole? :gay:

wow... you have no idea... the good looking girls do care for those things, very..very.. much my friend! they pay attention to every little detail, from that post its clear to me that either we live on different planets or you don't associate with many girls. (no pun intended)

Oh yeah nothing gets a girl wet like when her man asks if he can borrow her epilator to do his legs. :gay:
Maybe you just know teenage girls and not grown women like I do.

Seriously whatever they say women want their man to be a man, they'd prefer some guy who knows how to fix a car or have some DIY skills or just a big masculine guy who makes them feel safe, to a man who likes a spray tan and a manicure.

the two dont have to conflict, why cant she have a guy who takes care of himself (waxing his body hair,, goes to the gym, tanning, taking care of his skin with lotions and all that "gay stuff" ) and also know the "manly stuff"... :dunno: in our modern world appearance takes a huge part, and grooming isnt a curse, 50 years ago (or even 20) i would agree with you, not today.

trust me, just as you wouldn't want your girl to show up some day with curly hairs on her legs, vagina and ***.. she wouldnt be happy with those back and shoulder hairs and white pale skin or bear belly... these things can be changed easily and the effect is dramatic.

(oh yeah btw, all those manly stuff wont keep her around for long if a guy cant offer some proper pounding aswell)

The man you describe sounds like CCS.
IMO 'grooming' is keeping clean and tidy not cosmeticly enhancing yourself. And I'd expect some masculine guy would be more likely to give a good pounding than some queer eye for the straight guy enthusiast.

Tanning waxing, and using beauty products makes it sound like the guy wants to strip away his masculinity and become more like a woman. To me it says 'I'm not comfortable with myself. I'm pretty sure a woman would find a completley hairless man abit weird, I mean whats next, a bit of eyeshadow.

It would probably be called "Guyshadow" and the packaging would have flames on it or something :)

I love how marketing departments repackage essentially the same cosmetic products that women use, but for men, by adding "turbo" to the title and painting it black and red.

Seriously, in Stockholm, where I live, its absolutely paramount for a guy to be meterosexual. The ladies expect you to shave your chest, your stomach and all kinds of "gay stuff". The differences between women and men are slowly fading away when it comes to the supplies of skin care products etc. I think the "original" masculinity has started to vanish over the last decades in post-industrial countries.

Also, the differences between gay men and heterosexual men are more inseparable today IMHO.

A good looking girl will demand both.

If they must choose, then yes! At least when it comes to grown ups, not teenagers.

It's also not like you discuss everything you do to yourself with women. If you put a skin care product on your skin and she says wow you have got really nice skin, you dont have to go 'yeah i'm exfoliating and using expensive creames everyday'. If she compliments on your clothes you dont have to go 'yeah I love shopping, I cant stand to wear the same outfit more than once a week'. If she compliments you on your body you dont have to go 'yeah I am obsessed with my weight'. You just say thanks. These are extreme examples but my points is, taking care of yourself, even in a 'queer eye for the straight guy' manner doesn't neccesarily mean that you have to be gay about it.

George Clooney has had several botox injections in his face but I don't think it'll mean the end of poon for him.

That boy should stop making movies and return to the school bench in high school, if ya know what I mean.
