Any brand with 5% Minoxidil in it will do. Good luck!

Allright , very good question ! I just give you the suggestion and then you can make a decision about it.

I think Dr.Klein Remox would be good but I will go with promox since it has finasteride in it . You can also try lipogaine which has
minoxidil with many different dht-inhbitor , I personally used lipogaine about 3 months and get some result but Its ok so far. My guess is promox would be work better on temple since I have read some good positive result about that.

foam and liquid get both 1 bottles each and try it out see which one you prefer. I had tried 6 months of liquid and then 6 months worth of foam and found liquid worked slightly better overall.

Not that it was a major improvement but was better...

I tried kirkland minoxidil liquid and foam variants.

I have been using minoxidil 5% 3 times a day for 4 months, didnt did much beside skipping some heartbeats XD.
I bought my rogaine from ebay wasnt expensive at all and came in a pack for 3 month.
But it last 2.5 month each because Im only using it on the hairline and had some good grows with that.
No need to put all the hair into the shedding phase.
I'm norwood 1.5-2
best wishes

Minoxidil is Minoxidil

The bottom line is that any minoxidil will not help with your temples/hairline. Its for the top of your head. Also minoxidil is minoxidil, anyone that says its different is full of crap. FDA only approves one kind of minoxidil and its not mixed with anything or its illegal in the USA. Lipogaine mixed their with another ingredient and had to change it or they would probably be shut down. Now its just expensive Minoxidil. The only differences are the applications foam, dropper, or spray. The foam gets the least minoxidil to your scalp and is obviously less oily but you get less of the product which will equal less of an effect.

Agreed with above something that should have been mentioned from start really minoxidil rarely works on the temples and for front baldness. I have had very little to no re-growth near my temples and front baldness hence the nickname.

The big 3 or finasteride/minoxidil only really work if you catch the hair loss before the hair loss.... ie when your hair is getting lesser or thinner don't wait an extra second start it asap. A good way to look at it is it maintains what ever hair you have left on your head....

Starting it too late is one of the worst things that can occur...

Completely disagree. I've personally had terminal regrowth in both those areas from minoxidil, as have others on this forum. The product was tested on the crown area, that doesn't mean it doesn't work in others...

Don't know why you'd want to discourage someone from trying a cheap treatment that may well help.

No minoxidil works for the hairline , it was not tested in FDA trials for the hairline

This is correct. In the results presented to the FDA, the researchers only presented efficacy on the vertex, not the hair line, so advertising can only say that minoxidil is effective on the vertex. But it works on all parts of the scalp.

What's the optimum amount of Minoxidil to apply to the hairline? its recommended that 1ml twice a day to be applied to balding areas. Is applying minoxidil 1ml twice a day to the hairline/temple overkill? Is a reduced dose recommended just for the hairline?
