i was just wondering what topical product anyone would recommend to control itching and help maintain hair in the vertex. I don't have much hairloss here and want to keep it that way, but i can feel an itch beginning to develop. I was thinking folligen, tricomin or spironolactone. what do you suggest? i am currently on minoxidil, finasteride, and nizoral, along with t-sal and t-gel shampoos. thanks.

I havn't used those products you've listed so hopefully someelse can jump in and help there.

For about 6months when I first started I had bad itching and dandruff. I now have it under control with Head and Shoulder everyday, conditioner everday, and Nizoral 1% every third day. If I skip H&S or the conditioner then I will have flakes form very quickly that day.
Hope that helps.

I shower daily and rotate the folowing products: Nizoral, T-Gel, Tricomin (Shampoo + Conditioner)

I use the Tricomin hair spray here and there.

My itch has completely disappeared now but it could also be the finasteride kicking in (6 weeks and counting).

If I had to take a short in the dark, I would have to say that the Tricomin is the one doing the most work towards stopping the itch, but it's hard to tell.
