Some people here (including myself) have been trying American Crew Tea Tree Oil conditioner at Cassin's recommendation, and have found it pretty good.

The bottle says 2-5 minutes. I usually do 2 and half. There was a thread about how tea tree oil acts as a mild antiandrogen, but that people who overdo it and use it too frequently (daily, twice a day) can possibly develop gyno.

I only use it on days I use T/Gel, as I find the coal tar can sometimes be a little harsh.

Sounds like you're lacking conditioner to me too, though there are loads and loads to choose from and the ones for different hair types really are different.

When showering, wash your hair first, rinse, then massage in the conditioner. While the conditioner is in, do the rest of your scrubbing in the shower, smelly pits etc. :)

Finally when you're done just rinse out the conditioner as you shower away the rest of the suds and shower gel, and refer to the instructions on the conditioner bottle before drying; some are towel dry, some are blow dry. If you’ve never used hair conditioner before, you’re in for a treat; your hair will have an unbelievable texture.

Top tip, avoid using conditioner on the front of your hairline and other thinning areas if possible. Well conditioned hair can often look finer and less dense. There are exceptions however, and they are usually heat activities (i.e. blow dried) or specially formulated to act as a thickener.

Works like a charm, and will give really good results.

im guessing that this would stem from the alcohol alongside the Minoxidil
Definitely true. And partly because Nizoral can dry the hair too. I had the same problem and as soon I stopped using Nizoral it got better. But not until I stopped using minoxidil did it get even better. You are alcohol sensitive. Just to give you an example, I color my hair due to gray hairs and the alcohol in the minoxidil strips the color off in about a week. I even use the foam and it still does it. If its stripping color out of my hair, its probably not a good sign for my hair health. I use conditioner but it still felt like hay and whispy thin. Now its been over 2 weeks witout it and my hair quality has improved. I would love to get some more Nanosal minoxidil which is PPG free and alcohol free but I cannot find it for sale anymore.
