In my concern for cancer prevention I researched body p.h 's impact on health and its interesting to know just how wide ranged our p.h impacts our health. It effects our risk of cancer, as well as our degree of arthritis experienced as we age, as well as degree of heart burn at any given time, ect ect... note: the above info is medical fact.
Anyway, more research uncovered the fact that as we age our p.h becomes more acidic due to our western diet for the most part. Easterners with thier diet consisting of highly alkuline foods such as green leafy veggies and less fast food and meat, experience less hair loss. But in the last half of this century they too have been seeing an increase in thier hairloss cases and its because of thier p.h...
With more research I found the minerals potassium, magnesium, and zinc (which is touted as being beneficial to hair loss) to be abundant in leafy veggies and very alkiline to the body. Also, found out potassium is used to lessen water retention and would therefore support Brian's scalp hydration theory by pointing out that a scalp with a deficiency in essential potassium and magnesium over a long period of time would impact fullness of hair.
The western diet not only encourages dht retention via lack of blood flow due to micro clogging from trans fats but lack of exercise as well.
If your geneticly preexposed to hairloss the worst thing you can do is live the cliche' western adult life. A decade or more of this behavior will leave your scalp very thin with no thanks to dht.
So in responce I've changed my diet a little by drinking V8 juice in the morning and evening and started taking grape fruit pectin casules to lessen trans fat impact and I take magnesium, potassium, zinc .
I wonder if maybe a topical approach of edta, pottasium, magnesium, zinc as well as Xandrox would help???
Not:the majority of antioxidant acids as well as azelaic acid and retin-a are indeed alkuline to our bodies despite their being termed acids. Also, lemon juice is alkuline to the body.

This also points out the idea that baldness happens to be mother nature's way of making the bald man less attractive to females. Sad but true... Mother nature doesn't take into consideration I.Q or wisdom as a factor but only the bodies health thus we have a population that is hell bent for good looks but quite stupid and foolish and shallow. With this said I'm happy to say that I'm bald.
Its also unfortunate that our society rewards not just the smart and well behaved but the rappers as well which happen to be of absolute zero usefullness to society and only breed retardedness, As well as giving vulgarity a value and is perpetual socially speaking  :freaked2: This is just my opinion. I could be wrong. Excuse the ranting.

One more note:A acidic p.h. body will experience alot more inflammation compared to a alkuline p.h . Also note this is why arthritis is impacted by p.h. I added magnesium to my xandrox as well as some finasteride and apply cortisone lotion to my scalp at night because upon waking in the mornings I can feel the inflammation on the scalp with no thanks to high dosage of minoxidil to it. I feel my scalp is in very good health on this regimen. A busy schedule has made me toss other ideas out that I have been doing.
