Pitt has insane hair, especially for his age. Obviously in that picture its slicked back and has a ton of gel or whatever in it, which is going to make it look as worse as possible. Considering how much hair he still has at his age...he probably wont go bald until he's freakin 80...if ever.

NW2, my arse, an Norwood 2 doesn't have such pronounced temporal points, he's probably an Norwood 1.5 on the left side, very MINOR recession.

Add to the fact he's 48!!! He'll still have a near identical head of hair in his 60's and 70's.

Its Norwood 1.5 clearly there is some recession. He should get on propecia ASAP to keep what he got.

Bro he's almost 50 f*****g years old and he has a better hairline/better hair than most people in their 20s and 30s. He'll keep his hair well into his 50s and 60s easily...the guys doesn't have male pattern baldness

Brad Pitt is a hair god. I'll admit it...i have a man crush on brad pitt's hair

Lets call it like it is he has some recession and I promise you I can find a guy with none at his age. You can pretend it is whatever you want I am saying regardless of age he has some slight recession. Hair loss is hair loss regardless of age now maybe current treatments suck and might be worth trying but the fact stands its not Norwood 0 anymore.

Pitt is closer to a NW2 than a NW1. So that makes him a NW2. I jumped on Propecia when my hairline looked like his. However, I still got about the same amount of recession now but Propecia did not keep my hairline from diffusely thinning. Too bad Propecia does not save the hairline. His hairline is more solid than mine about a half of inch back. Maybe he started taking Propecia in the past few years. No one really knows for sure.

Sometimes when you see actors shave their head for a movie role, I would think that would be a good time to get some FUE grafts added to their present hairline and within two weeks to four weeks you would never know anything was done and next thing you know a year later, their hairline looks better. I think maybe some actors like Ashton Kutcher may have done this. After Ashton Kutcher cut his hair this year, it was very obvious he had hair extension or something like a partial added to his original hair to make it look super thick for about 4 or 5 episodes. I remember watching an episode and you could see some strange white or gray fibers in his hair like it was a partial or something. I was waiting to see if anyone saw it and would post it on here but no one did. Now it looks alot thinner recently and more natural. I am definitely sure he was wearing something back in those episodes but not in recent ones now. There was an episode where he was in storm and rain with wind and you could clearly see plenty of recession and bald spots on the sides. Hollywood definitely can turn all NW2s into perfect NW1 very easily.

maybe he is between a 1 and 2, but the point is its taken him 30+ yrs since he was 18, to recede to that point. if u extrapolate that out his whole life he may be Norwood 2.5 by the time he dies. and it tends to slow even more the older u get.

some of us go from Norwood 0 to Norwood 1.5 in the 6 months between 17 and 17.5, and reach Norwood 6 by the age of 30

even if there is ever so slight recession, he has nothing to worry about.

on another note any one notice small guys seem to have less percentage of male pattern baldness (brad is tiny like tom cruise.)?

yes there is male pattern baldness in small guys but it seems less likely. perhaps theres a growth hormone element to it.

I think you guys are still crazy to say he's closer to an NW2, look at the norwood scale again. The dude's temples are exactly like an NW1 from the side, if not lower.

Ewan Megregor is someone who's closer to an NW2.

Oh this is nothing. This thread will probably hit 5 or 6 pages if not more and there are probably dozens of threads about Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Beckham, etc. For some reason people here are fascinated by celebrity hair loss (or lack of hair loss).

Pitt is a Norwood 1.5\2 with a solid hairline. His hairline was so thick before that even now that you can tell it's thinned slightly, it looks better than any of ours. It's still virtually perfect.

He's also almost 50 years old. He could rock any hair style he wanted.

I have seen the same interest in Docs as well. It's like they are held to a higher standard and should not bald. Celebs and docs are people just like the rest of us.
