Yes, but Bryan, but I would like to see you give fuller answers. And I've been observing this for many, many years on this forum.
You do tend to answer questions rather incompletely, just enough to address the question, but no more - forcing us to keep asking more and more questions.
[Collapsing to the floor in a dead faint...picking myself up and dusting myself off...] You're saying that _I_ answer questions incompletely?? Wow...
I'll admit that years ago (like going all the way back to alt.baldspot), I used to go into TOO MUCH detail, like posting multi-page replies with full citations to the medical literature. But I slowly realized that I was mostly wasting my time and energy. Look at how the very same questions get repeated over and over and over and over, despite the fact that they've already been answered over and over, by myself and others. Nowadays my answers are somewhat more direct and to-the-point, but I'm shocked that anyone would consider them to be "incomplete".
If anyone posts follow-up questions, I'm delighted to post follow-up answers. I consider that to be more efficient than posting a huge TOME of a reply each time, because it shows me exactly what's on the person's mind, and I can avoid wasting both my time and theirs.
