Hi everyone

So I'm 22, and as of about 8 weeks now, I've noticed a small area of hair missing on my head.

It's kind of thinned out in one patch towards the front of my head. There's still hair, but the mass in this particular area has decreased (is that considered thinning?)

Also have had my scalp burning somedays and it can become itchy too.

The GP says its male pattern, whether it is or not, what can I do to stop this from happening further?

Cheers

Have you tried 'Zix' - there's a popular thread on here started by a guy called 'Worm' which explains how to make it. Supposed to be good for itching. Divine Herbal Hair Oil I've been told supposed to help with itch & growth. Also might be worth asking your GP to refer you to a derm so you can be sure exactly what it is.

Thanks ill have a look. My GP did refer me, but I didn't see the point in spending $200 to hear the same thing from a derm?

Ahh I was assuming you were based in the UK where we can get a referral (most times) on the NHS which is free. Not all good here though, it is getting harder to get a referral for anything now :/ Hope you manage to find something to help, you're definitely in the right place for advice! Hopefully somebody else will chip in with some advice too.

If you are facing this problem then, first of all, you should change your lifestyle because without this you cannot get thick hair density. Hair regrowth totally depends upon your habits. You should start exercise, yoga and increase the intake of green vegetables and juice.
