I get way way way way WAY WAY more attention from the ladies. Not just "older" women (30+) as you might expect. I'm talking 17-28 and hot/pretty. and I ain't exactly a looker either.

the sad irony is, that if I recover from my balding... I may just keep it buzzed. f*****g LOVE it .. !!!

Flimflam, I could not agree more. Three days ago I went for broke and did it and though I feel a little naked, I am slowly starting to get used to this plus I also noticed much more attention and "vibes" from women. You can just tell because as they look at your bald head they also check your face and your eyes. As a result much more eye contact and this is a great thing in hooking up with future women.

I just called a woman up I met in the store yesterday after we had a run in regards to a parking issue and I am going to meet her for a date tomorrow at where she works. She said she wants to get to know me before proceeding any further. At least I got my foot in the door. Ten years of bad luck and in only three days I am going to meet a hot babe that I met in a parking lot just yesterday.

If any of you people have any reservations, don't. Alot more women I believe are falling for this new trend in men to shave your hair. My only regret is not doing this 10 years ago.

I get comments all the time from the ladies about how it looks a lot thinner now. the only really up side to it is that i dont really have to "adjust" it every second of the day. It's just out there open for everyone to see my NW3 hairline!

Hairisthinning, this is why you must go the to bone on this. Just do it and this way none of these ladies are looking at your NW3, instead they are looking at your facial features and other things rather than a thinning crown or recessed temples. Do you work out? I just started and I have to lose 50 lbs or so but I already got a hot date with a psychiatrist tomorrow afternoon at 3:30. I can't wait to meet her. Nice hot blonde about 35 or so and she wants to see me. 10 years of toupees and a woman asked to see me and I am totally bald. Something is definately happening positive because I did this. I'll let everyone know how my date goes tomorrow.

awesome man thats great !! When I did it, at first I was like oh my god..what have I done !! But i got used to it after a few days. I now spend no time dicking about infront of the mirror, or worrying how it looks at work, or worrying when it's windy or raining. and it feels .. "clean". Nice.

because I am so happy with it, I feel like i've got part of my confidence back. i'm walking around with my chin up and exuuuuding confidence. people notice that, subconciously or otherwise. which is what helps pick up the chicks..

Zack, boy do I hear you on that one. I remember one time a long time ago I jerked off not thinking my girlfriend at that time would show up 5 minutes after doing "that'. Well, of course you know what happens next. She wants sex and I am the guy making excuses. well duh, i'd rather have my hair back too. but what I'm saying is in the interim, it's such a nice solution. not only is it easy and cheap, but it can remove so much stress from your life which can only be a good thing if you're trying to regrow hair, wouldn't you agree? I agree it's not for everyone, but I was toying with the idea for months before I just finally did it and I wish I'd done it sooner. maybe others feel the same way :wink:

Thanks flimflam, I am stoked too. I hope I score tomorrow. Well actually I am just hoping that things work out so I can get a second date. Women barely put out on the first date but it would be nice as she is hot. She just said to come to her office tomorrow at 3:30. I have no clue where to take her but I am thinking dinner and a movie.

As far as being totally bald. I am not where you are yet flimflam but I feel the confidence buiding in me and I honestly am getting more looks. It's either my bald head or my jeans I just bought. I bought a pair of Levi's this time over Dakota's and they are a little tight so maybe women are checking my backside as well. yeah, it's not for everyone I guess. I'm a diffuse thinner in a (probably) NW4 area. but i've only receeded to about NW2. but I have really dark hair so it kinda looks obvious but ahh who cares.

to be honest, if I was NW3 and thick all over, i'd probably grow it very long.

to others:

if you're thinning, and it's kinda obvious that you're doing your best to hide it, then you're going to look stupid. take it off like you don't give a f***. generally, women don't like men who have insecurities about their appearance as it reminds them too much of themselves.
