i figured out he was cuntsinger even though with not being a mod anymore, i couldn't check his ip to confirm. the posting styles were too similar between them. Plus Framer said he weighed 250 pounds and I always pictured Cuntsinger is God as a fat f***.

Back to the spirit of the thread. My hair is 3 inches everywhere right now and I've decided to get a haircut tomorrow morning. I think I'm going to have the barber cut the top to 2 inches and buzz the sides and back to 3/4th inch(6 guard). What do you guys think?

I have a buzzed head and nooo facial hair at all. It looks better like that, I think.

And by the way - all my life I thought my head shape was disgusting until I shaved it off and discovered that it was actually pretty nice (read: you might be wrong too).

facial hair only tries to give you that "mean" look.

The fact that you sport it to try and cover up some baldness still shows insecurities.

The reason it's so liberating is because you're not covering anything up. You're fully exposing your scalp to the world. I've seen plenty of guys with facial hair that didn't look "mean." So many pre-made conclusions in this thread!

I've never seen a guy who looked bad with a shaved head.

Thats a ridiculous statement its like saying I've never seen a guy with really long hair that looked bad. Obviously some guys will look alright and others wont.

Shaved mght not suit all but its good to hear many of the positive stories about it here for those of use that are losing it big time. I think its better to shave than show a horseshoe.

My brother has a horse shoe and went bald 10 yrs ago so although i'm losing it now I have been luckier than him. I asked him why he didn't shave it and he said a number 2 was as close as he'd do it as he liked it that way...he didn't have the confidence to shave that horseshoe off. Interesting I thought as guys say here how confident you have to be to shave it all off and I think that's true and maybe women can see that and like the confidence..just a thought.

Today i´ve gone to the barbers to cut my hair,short on the sides and take a little bit off on top.

My family already noticed i´m balding, but i guess i really have to shave it to a 1.

I did it 3 years ago and it looked great...had women star at me more too

I will buzz it to 1 when it gets hotter.

true and guess what, lots of women dig that. sure, there are lots of girls who prefer guys with tom cruise like hair, but there are women who prefer shaved heads. it's all a matter of personal choice. i think i look slightly better with my hair at about 2 inches long, but i get plenty more attention from girls with my head shaved(about 1/2 - 1/3 inch). i usually shave it every april-june, because i prefer keeping it really short in the summer. just a lot less maintenance...

i agree that a shaved head can be a great look for some guys, but for others like me there is no way i could ever do it based on my head shape. i have a somewhat large deformed head with a large bump on the back, with a full thick head of hair and even the hair i have now it's not noticeable, but that's pretty much been the reason why i have worn it so long all my life. i remember the one time when i did buzz it for baseball when i was like 14 people would comment and think i had some sort of tumor on my head. if it ever gets to the point where it's exposed i'd rather have a nice full hair piece to cover it up then have to deal with having a giant mis-shaped head being exposed.

For me, shaving to a 0 or 1 just doesn't feel comfortable. I like a 2 or 3.
I am kind of tired about guys saying that their head is not "shaped" right to shave their heads as I think these people are overreacting and being too self critical. I have never looked at a guy with a shaved head and thought "oh my he better grow that horseshoe back in because his head is clearly too big to be shaving his hair". Seriously, I have a ton of friends/co-workers with shaved heads and I couldn't tell you what the "shape" of any of their heads are and I see them everyday.
