Can a hair system fill in my temples ?

My question for ya all experts is: can hair systems fill in temples ?

As a 22year-old boy, that's what matters to me. And beside having a shitty skin, that's what gives me the 30year-old look... So yeah, I'm too young to have a hair transplant. And it's not like I was super confident in a transplant anyway. So I'm hoping that a hair system can fill in my temples because every pictures I see of men with a toupee, they always look norwood-2...

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean wearing two triangles in the corners of your head to cover receded temples? A pic would help

What I mean basically is : can a toupee get me to Norwood 0 ? by covering receded temples just like you said.

Also can a toupee go as low as possible on the frontline ?
for instance, on this guy here

It looks (to me) like the frontline isn't as low as it should be. I'd like to read someone else's opinion on this.
Because I'm not sure if a hair system can really help me or not. Maybe I'll post a picture of my receded temples (+thinning hairline) in the week when I'll have time. Now is too late in the night...

Of course it can go as low as possible, but unless you have good temple points/sides, it's going to look ridiculous.

The fact that you think the front hairline in that photo should be lower shows that you might need a bit of a reality check with regards to hair systems. I think the placement for that guy in the pic is perfect.

I would not go any lower than this... however that is a very straight hairline, looks to be a "C". You could go with something that gives more of a widow's peak, that does not require super-strong temple points.

Bumping up this thread. I'm finally getting out of college (or whatever it was). So I'm really starting to consider a hair system.

I tried to find another example that may be way too fanciful and so expansive. But I'm gonna post it to give an idea.

Is it possible to kinda get the Orlando Bloom hair in LOTR ?

I quickly googled it and found a video showing his "system"

So, the real question wouldn't be "is it possible ?" since it clearly is. But does anybody know about this "kind" of hair system that gives you a Norwood 0 hairline ? Of course, I'm not looking for something that long. 5cm of hair is what I'd like. Because yeah, this kind of "system" is clearly something very expensive for movie production only I guess

Anyway, I'm just asking for a few opinions here on this forum. I'll probably go in a hair system "store" in Paris in the following weeks (or months depending on my internships). Also, if anyone knows a good store in Paris that could glue the system on my scalp, that'd help too.

Would this look be suitable?

That's a system. In my opinion, it is too low but if you're young and it's what you want, you should go for it. At around 2:10 in that video you can see how the temple points look.

This guy seems to have weak side hair and this is the hairline he got (he claims that this is how it looks out of the box, without being cut in)

Are there any hair system brands to avoid ?

The second dude's hair is what I'd be looking for yep. I'm glad that something like that exists as the usual hair systems on youtube look to high on the front for me.

Yes but best to get something custom made
I've had more problems with custom hair systems not made to my exact spec than stock.
Despite sending them a 1 inch hair sample, the colour was wrong on two separate occasions.
Maybe they employed monkeys in the factory or someone colour blind. lol
Both my Optima Hair and HairHub custom hair systems were the wrong colour. Usually darker than my bio hair.

Whereas the TotalCoverPlus and my current SuperHairPieces stock systems are a better colour match.

An undercut style or full cap hair system would be best if you have patchy temples area.

Or hair transplant in the temples area.

Change your supplier to one that doesnt employ monkeys. Those are smart monkeys though

I trim my temples to 0, then use some hair fibers + sealing spray on it. I have traction Alopecia on one side only. Since its for a small area, on one side only, it camouflages well.

That's interesting that you have traction alopecia on one side. I thought that type of hair loss was from pulling the hair back or something pulling the hair to cause it to fall out permanently. I experienced some of that when I first started wearing topper Hair Systems.
