good afternoon gentlemen
I have this question
Is there a pattern in excessive hair growth on the body and baldness? Wherever you look all hairy are bald.
I’m 14 and I’m very afraid of baldness, I’m just very hairy for my years, my whole chest, shoulders and stomach are covered with solid hair, and it’s very interesting whether the problem of baldness can affect me if my father has 1 Norwood at 50 years old?
Thanks

That’s interesting question. Men come in all kinds. I’ve seen men with virtually no body hair balding. And men with lots of body hair have thick, healthy hair.
I see your point.
Only thing we should worry about is ourselves. DHT grows body hair. So as we reduce androgens we should see a lessening of body hair. To at least see we are on right track. If you see your beard or facial hair lessening, we would need to be more deliberate & careful.

Most guys with excessive body hair go bald because they either have lots of dht or they're just really sensitive to it (even a little amount) Sensitivity to dht causes body hair but causes your head hair to go unless your head hair follicles aren't sensitive to dht. If you go on reddit forums like r/beards you'll see 99.9% of all the users with a good beard have some recession even if it's just a mature hairline.

It only lessens hair that hasn't become terminal. Once a follicle is fully active, it can't be undone. This is why trans women have to get electrolysis on their beards.
