I read somewhere that a perm damages the scalp and that pulling the hair back and keeping it there for long periods of time will also ruin the scalp. I had a perm once never again will I have one.

When I was a teen, I always got up too late and had to hurry and get ready. So I would always grab the hair dryer to get it done faster. I parted my hair on the left side and blew it to the right. Well guess where the first hairs started to fall out were? Right at the left temple.

Now with my regimen, I am getting some regrowth, but NOTHING will grow on that left temple area. :freaked:

Well I got bleached highlights on my hair done a few years ago ....

The hairdresser but a plastic cap on my hair and used a hairdryer to heat up my head .....

He told me to say when it gets too hot BUT the place was packed with people and I was errrr too shy to tell him that the top middle of my head felt like it was on fire !!!! :(

Yup, now my hair is thinning just where I can remeber him burning me !!!

Please tell me I'm imagining it !!!
