How much are you planning on donating this year to the Post-Finasteride Syndrome Foundation? I think they are here to help people like yourself.

To be honest I’ve been reading this forum for a while before i started taking fina. So from what I’ve read i already knew it’s kind of a trade of your masculinity and i’d say the sharpness of sexual sensation for hair. Decreased libido and stuff weren’t a deal-breaker for me, but when mental sides kicked in that’s when i decided to quit.

i mean definitely this whole thing got me thinking how legit the trials and research conducted by FDA are. Before i had 100% trust to FDA and pharmaceuticals, but now i think everything has to be perceived with caution. I’m not into conspiracies like fina is 100% poison, but I definitely feel like cases where people got severe side should be investigated.

regarding pfs foundation i didn’t really bother to research or donate, since most of my sides resolved (even though it took way more time than expected). Plus I’m not sure how legit some of the claims are, a lot of things could be attributed to pfs when it may be multiple other factors affecting their health, so hard to tell.

i mean you’re f*****g with your hormones, DHT is very important to health of males, so certain things are to be expected.

And it definitely affected my motivation and the way i think too. So it seems like androgens are regulating more things than just your boner.

some people claiming that their lives were crushed cause of fina, and as a person who was taking fina myself, i can see how that could be true.

There is a flip side to that coin. Many people claiming that their lives were crushed cause of hairloss.

Well...
I understand this side as well.

But it’s totally genetical, and 100% normal and healthy for people to go bald...

On the other side having a society, where people would judge/dislike you for criterias you don’t choose and not in control of...

Don’t even mention that there far more important qualities to a person.

I get it it when singers, actors and other people with frequent public appearance worry about that a lot, cause it directly impacts their career but there are extremely good hair systems out there.

But in the end of the day it’s fucked up that for men nowadays it’s such a big issue. Imagine being a woman and having to follow more stricter/higher beauty standarts...

Yep. What's weird, dutasteride caused me an upregulation of sort (on the year i was on it), it increased my sebum significantly, and i got the worst forms of acne in my life (cystic acne/nodular). Though, it had a reverse effect on my body/facial hair. It was pretty weird.

Cypro has been nothing short of amazing. Sebum is reduced significantly, no more acne causing dutasteride, scalp acne disappeared entirely, hair is very healthy and doesn't get infested with oil even after 3 days of no showering. Vellus hairs in my hairline are getting longer slowly, but i don't expect major regrowth on cypro, for that i'll be adding E.

did the acne get better? i am having lot of problem with acne

.05% Retin-A. I apply it liberally, but I haven't been using it for months now. This is the HA I use.

You should see results within 6 months of needling, i needled my forehead lines over 6 years ago using a manual stamp at 1.5mm and they were completely gone within 6 months. They are just only just starting to creep back so i stated needling them again using a dr.pen at 1.5mm, does more damage and takes longer to heal than a manual stamp from what i have found but i should still see the same sorts of results i imagine. Good luck, hope it work out for you. Im also using retin-a at.0.05%, i switched from copper peptides, i was hesitant at first though.

I don't have any lines, I just do it as a preventative so I can't say if it works. It's actually been 3 or 4 months now since I needled so I need to do it again soon. It hurts more on the face so I dread it, but it doesn't take nearly as long.

Do you just needle the whole of your face then? if you don't know where to focus your stamp/pen i imagine that's the only thing you could do.

Not much on the label shows the % of HA. There are some studies about HA increasing collagen on scalp (much needed after all the DMSO I am dumping on it. )
