I have been taking a supplement called guggul, which stimulates the thyroid to increase t3 output. Guggul is used by a lot of people as a metabolic increaser. So, my question is if guggul sends the thyroid into overdrive could it cause hyperthyroidism?? One of the side effects of hyperthyroidism is hairloss. Does anyone on the board take guggul or have heard of it? Thanks for your help. :D

I would doubt that it would have any significant impact on your thyroid levels. It may help a bit when dieting, but the main method of action is that it increases T4 conversion to T3. Your body will sense this and intially pump out more T4. In the end, I would imagine that the body's feedback loop would catch up rather quickly in a healthy individual.
