well i went overseas and came back recently and i had a pretty bad hairloss and i can easily see my scalp now which i could never see before. i had pretty bad lice from overseas cuz i didnt wash my hair often there, and the dr said that its nothing to be worried about and he says it should grow back.

well im a 20yr old male and im kinda freaked out cuz my hair is awful, im seeing a dermatologist next thursday to get it official

I wouldn't think head lice causes hairloss, as in male pattern baldness. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it caused some sort of "localised" temporary hairloss in patches.

I had head lice once, I was 11 or 12. My mom had to wash my head with some chemical cocktail. That thing kills every living organism on the scalp.

im pretty sure lice and milk are way two different things. Lice can damage the roots and make hair brittle...

How do lice damage roots and make hair brittle? Hair roots (follicles) are below the skin.
