Mid twenties. Is it possible to recover my hairline?

i feel like I'm even slightly balder than these photos show cause of the lighting..

currently only use nizoral, refuse to use minoxidil to skin aging

Hi 1212, you are gonna have to hit the treatments hard to have any chance of regrowth.
You need to be on a dht suppressor like finesteride or dutasteride.
A growth agent minoxidil, stemoxidine
Also a AR receptor blocker RU58841, cb or fluridil.
Then you may have a small chance to thicken the hair you have up a lot.
As for the hairline coming back only a transplant will help this.

No, but you could get it thicker with medications. Not sure if it's worth it tho. Probably really expensive

Maybe if you are very very good minoxidil responder then minoxidil + finasteride/dutasteride + dermaroller +Ru58841 you might get to norwood 2 but it is very very low chance. It would be easier to get regrowth on crown and make your existing hair densier/thicker and then get hair transplant.

finasteride is probably the next move. Minoxidil is out of the question, as mentioned in OP. Not familiar with AR receptor blockers but will look into them. Thanks

I'll look up Ru58841. I have a dermaroller, it probably wouldnt hurt to use once a month
