Yes, it looks more natural, i'v head a receeding hairline since i was 16

At a certain point it looks far more realistic and better to have some recession. I have designed my custom system with recession in mind because it suits my age - as shown in previous pics posted.

Don't we need to have some length around the lateral humps area when we get a hair system? So we always go for a low fade rather than a high fade. I'm new to systems but that's what I was told at a salon. So, according to that, the graduated sides would be difficult.

Recessions helps a lot with hiding the hairline. If you make it less pulled to the back, it will be easier.

I absolutely want a receding hairline and I have played around with a couple different hairlines in the process. I have other photos where my hair looks really good, but when looking at hairlines, detectability, cut, blending, etc - this one has been my best.

I don't think it is hard to pull off, you just have to make sure that you have a graduated hairline, and it is not too thick.

That is kind of the point.

It looks good, the style suits me and it was really one of the few styles where I could just wet my hair and walk out the door like in the photo below.

I am going to be 60 soon, I need to make sure my hair is reflective of my age.
