Can I put Minoxidil on hair that's not just been washed?

Is it ok to put Minoxidil on my scalp before it's washed? ie. when there's hair putty and hair spray in the hair?

Minoxidil works fine on unwashed hair BUT doesn't work effectively with hair products covering your scalp.

Short answer to your question = no.

I use minoxidil twice a day (once in the morning after I shower and once at night). At night I do not wash my hair, but then again don't use much products in my hair. I would say that you would probably be okay.
