ok im taking finasteride 1mg for about 1 month everyday, and i feel it has positive effect with NO sides at all.

i think i can handle something heavier like dutasteride.

i heard dutasteride focuses on a different aspect of the dht molecule when finasteride can't. vice versa with finasteride. so id like to try out both together.

Maybe i can dutasteride once a week, then build more days if i get no sides..?

Don't get on dutasteride yet; give finasteride a year. If you still lose ground add dutasteride, if not keep milking the benefits of finasteride until you start to lose ground

I don't know man, maybe because finasteride might/probably will be all you need? Why bust out the big guns now when you don't need to?

because it's proven there are better results with using dutasteride than with finasteride. and i feel like my hair loss is kinda bad so i need to do something asap.

there could still be some dht leaking, you never know, so i want to halt dht completely. im 24 yrs old btw

Very few people posting say they had no side effects when using Dutasteride after switching from finasteride or using them at the same time. Not only that but I have seen only one documented case of photos where it proved to be more effective. I tried to do that study and I got more sides on Dutasteride and I did not see any more improvement. I know other posters who tried it too and said the same thing happened to them. Not only that but at 24 you risk the possibility of becoming fertile. You are way too young to know if you want kids or not in your future.

Chill out dude. 1 month is WAY too soon. After 1 year you still probably won't be at your maximum benefit from finasteride. If you respond like around 90% of men do, you will be fine for a long time or indefinitely.

I know, it's risky but appearance is my future too, and it's important when young. that's why i want to try dutasteride once a week and see how i go..

Look all i can confirm, i forgot what source, but it was legitimate, saying how dutasteride focused on blocking an aspect of an adrogen that finasteride can't, i mean why not take it?

Yes, i know i need to chill, but i regret leaving my hair loss this long. i was starting to lose hair around 20. i used minoxidil for a year and a half at 21. it maintained it but regrew sh*t fuzzy hair. top of scalp thinned out ALOT.

If you feel strongly about it, then take it once per week and see how your body responds. In a few countries, they are using it instead of finasteride to treat hair loss. Its your choice, so do what you feel is right. I doubt anyone here is going to change your mind as you seem determined to try it anyway. Good luck and report back here.

im determined to regrow 90% of my hair, even most of my hairline. i dont want to be one of those guys who's content on getting on finasteride and maintaining their hair, and even if it is maintaining their hair it could decrease slowly and before you know it they're bald.

so i wanna try and throw stones at all the birds while im young cuz if my hair loss gets any worse than mine now, i think it will be too late.
