From what I gether on here, most people know they are shedding, because they have umpteen million hairs in the bath. But for us people with 1cm long hair, can a massive decrease in density be acredited to a proscar shed?

My density has gone through the floor, and my scalp definitely shows through my hair now. It's bright red, and it feels very sore as well. Up close, the scalp looks very shiny between the hairs....

Minoxidil is working on the hairline, though. Soon, I'll have just a hairline, and no friggin hair...

Yes, i have been on propecia and minoxidil for 1.5 months now, and the shedding would not stop... i think i lose more hair now than i started, i really don't know when it is going to stop... i am really worrying that the drugs might not work for me....

I think it can be seen in terms of density. It goes through stages of shedding and regrowth. I'm shedding pretty good right now, but my hair is TEN times healthier and in better shape then when I started. My hair looked a little better a 4-6 weeks ago, so I'm pretty certain during the next growth stage my hair will be better then ever.

Well, my hair feels "totally limp" right now. gourmetstylewellness.com said his went this way for a while, so I'm hoping it gets better.
