No, a friend of mine suffer of seborea sinse his 12-13’s and is full of hairs. As me he have to wash his hairs everydays

This doesn’t cause hair loss? For some reason I just can’t agree. My hair started pouring out at the first sight of this scalp issue.

I guess it depends on the degree of the condition. and also depends if you have male pattern baldness running in your genes or not, I guess if you have male pattern baldness, having saborea dermatitis can accelerate the hair loss, but if you don't have MBP then it doesn't affect your hair as much if at all.

Seborrheic Dermatitis can be a symptom of hairloss, but it doesn’t directly cause it. Scratching it is usually what causes the loss, not the condition itself.

Seborrea is just a signal of ormonal activities. All men have dht on their body, not all hair’s sensibility to it

that's false. seborreic dermatitis can prevents oxygen to the hair follicels because of the condition of the scalp and thus weaken them, add male pattern baldness to the mix too and it can probably accelerate the hair loss process.

What shampoo/method would you suggest to get rid of it?

seborrea has nothing to do with sensitivity to dht, most men who go through male pattern baldness don't have seborrea.

Your saying that seborrea or greasy hair has nothing to do with hair loss? On the other hand, you feel seborrheic dermatitis does cause hair loss (I agree). I just think that’s a little contradictory because greasy hair I can tell perpetuates dermatitis. Everyone has yeast on their skin. Doesn’t make u more sensitive to dht but might cause dht to accumulate on the skin. As a result, I believe to much seborrea does cause hair loss but only as much as other environmental toxins like smoke and hair styling sprays. The damage is to insignificant to notice but still takes place. I have read a few studies and one says there’s also an autoimmune response due to yeast that supposedly causes hair loss similar to people suffering from alopecia areata.

That’s why I’m buzzing my head and hope it helps it get less greasy and more oxygen with the flakes gone.

which is what i posted you in the first place.

of course we dont know, the science doesnt know, if it triggers the hairloss or if this is part of a process for some kind of hormonal related hairloss, but still, what concern you is that is symptom of hairloss, yes

the autoimmune response you're talking about is what causes seborrea itself from what I've seen, basically saying that seborrea is happening due to some issue with autoimmunue system in people.

I did say I think seborra may cause hair loss but I also have male pattern baldness, I said they probably contribute each other.
but then there are some people (even in this thread) who know other people with seborrea that have tons of dandruff and oily scalps and don't lose any hair, meaning they probably don't have genetic hair loss and just seborrea.

that's why I said seborrea wasn't directly causing hair loss or then they should too have hair loss.
I think seborrea could weaken the hair but it's not gonna cause it to fall on its own, but if your hair is already weak because of genetic sensitivity to dht, then it might accelerate the hair loss process.
