Can T/Sal be used daily?

Hi,

I sometimes find the need to use T/Sal on a nearly daily basis.

I find that without using it, the flakes (I think from PPG buildup from Rogaine) get out of hand.. especially if I comb my scalp (which feels reaaaalllly good).

Is it bad to use T/Sal daily? I let the lather sit for about 4 minutes each time.

I feel maybe I'm overdrying my scalp. I don't use a conditioner because I keep my hair very short, but I wonder maybe if I should invest in some emu oil for moisturization purposes.

Rogaine's PPG seems too much for me, so I may have to switch to a Dr. Lee formula.

I'm just trying to get my shampoo regimen to work NICELY!

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
_mike

Hey Misterium,

I use T/Sal almost daily: two days T/Sal, one day Nizoral, two days T/Sal, one day Nizoral... I experimented with numerous shampoos and various combinations thereof, and I found that T/Sal is really a great overall shampoo. I have naturally oily hair (I don't use a conditioner) so it doesn't really dry out my hair that much, but I only leave it in about two or three minutes before rinsing. If my scalp is feeling particularly itchy however, I'll leave it in much longer. I've also been using Dr Lee's PPG free minoxidil for about four months--good stuff! Good luck to ya.

Hey cool, thanks for the info!

I'm also switching to Dr. Lee's PPG free formula.. in hopes that it simply allows for my scalp to 'breath' again without the ITCH of Rogaine.. and I also hope it makes less white flakey build-up on my scalp when I comb!

I think my problem with T/Sal and Nizoral is that it dries my scalp out too much thus causing itch.. but I'm positive the PPG from Rogaine is the MAIN CULPRIT.
