Can Toppik cause Hair Loss??

Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone noticed soem hair loss after using Toppik. A freind of mine ordered it recently and started using it - and he says he thinks hes been losing extra hair! I said maybe its cuz his hair looks so full with Toppik that when he washes it out his hair looks worse than it was b4 he started using it - even though there mite not be any change.

What do you all think? Also sometimes he leaves it in for a day or two (with the hairspray in) - so maybe that could cause hair to fall?

I just got my can and want to try it out but I wanna know about this first.

i m toppik user. i m also using minoxidil / sprio / nizoral. so far, i hve fallen less hair since i used spironolactone, i think.

back to the question, i think toppik will more or less adds to the hairloss... dont hve physics to back this up, just those damn colour that can go on ur and more...

but it should not be a worry imo.

i'm going to guess english isn't your first language. sometimes it doesn't seem to be mine either, but i found this post funny.

i know couvre doesn't ..don't see why toppik would. anyways.. i'm sure i read that it doesn't . i mean couvre is put on the scalp and it does not affect hair growth, etc.... toppik is just applied on the hair. if you use hair spray, that's obviously not good for your hair and it'll fall out. you'd have to buy the fiber spray they sell.. their way of making more money out of it

Hair Spray the culprit?

Actually, he did use hairspray i remember him sayin - so could that have caused hair loss - or is it just shedding and grow back. I was planning on using hair spray too since it locks the fibres in - but then is there any natural spray or one that is safe to use on hair?

I feel bad for him cuz it really does look worse (top has thinned out more) then when he first started just a month ago. But on more than one ocassion he did leave it on overnite. Now the only question is if it wil grow back or not :freaked:
