If I go for either a glue or a tape system using water-based non-toxic (hopefully) glues, and I use it for 2-3 years would it affect the scalp in any way that it might not accept transplanted hair later and render a surgery useless? Has anyone experienced this: using a system for a few years and then having a successful transplant?
Can using a system render the scalp unhealthy for future transplant?

Won't make a difference. I wore a hair system 2 months post op hair transplant where the skin very sensitive, healing and repairing itself. The a desires didn't aggravate or prevent the skin from healing and eventually the grafts growing througg.
Scalp is very resilient to these medical grade adhesives. Its fine.
