I find it quite ironic that you say you have academic value but your post is riddled with abbreviations and typos :p Try not to think about your hair until you are 18, I know it's easier said than done but I'm sure you will still have plenty of hair left by then!
Aha!! Compared to my brother I do!
My SPaG is rubbish loll and I know that xD

When did you start noticing hair recession?

What did you notice first about your hair?
Is it similar to what it looks like now.
Damn pretty young. That's unfortunate.
That my temples were thinning and my hairline was receding slightly. Its not really similar anymore. Ironically when I started preventative treatments is when my hair loss really sped up and I've lost more hair in almost two years of treatment that I have in 5 years without.

Can you post a picture of your hair now, if you want too? I doubt you have any pictures of your hairline back when you were 14 aha.

You reminded me of my situation back then... I use to comb my hair sideways, you know that young boys looks haha, one day I realized that the hair at temple got a lot thinner and was seeing scalp there... and then those sleepless night I had after that...

Also, my right temple is over an inch more receded then the left one, is this normal?

Honestly I dunno, my recession was like your story, I've always had alot of fringe down so it's hard to tell my recession unless I pull my hair back because I find it extremely difficult to style my hair, I just physically can't do it. But after I got a hair cut back in April I noticed early May my temple on my right side receded slightly more than my left.
I dunno if it's gotten worse but I think it has slightly, but the middle of my hairline seems to be slowly moving up which is making it look more normal so maybe it might just be maturing I dunno. I'll be posting pictures soon for analysis.

Cant do much till 18 anyway so..

I've already posted pics of my hair on this thread that was taken about 2 months ago, go back to a couple of pages.

Its very distressing when you first notice, but hopefully treatments can help you. I love concealer it makes me look like I have a full head of hair.

Oh I've went back and looked and your hairline seems like a mature one to be honest? Or is it not?
What's concealer exactly?

There's technically no such thing as a mature hairline. Its a concept that your hairline has receded but not enough to look noticeably balding. Its still male pattern baldness at the end of the day.

Not necessarily. While it technically still is male pattern baldness many guys seem to 'stop' receding for a while, this is because not all the hairs on your head are equally sensitive to DHT/T and the temples are usually the first to go. The exception is diffuse thinners who have follicles that are all equally or close to the same resistance.

The more I think about it though, the more it doesn't make sense. So scientists have came up that male pattern baldness is due to DHT sensitivity to the hair follicles. Why can't they come up with something to make it not sensitive?!
It doesn't make sense, especially the treatment we have today. SMH.
But then again I dunno.

IF you may can you enlighten me on dermarolling, because I don't get the concept.

We already do have drugs like that. The most popular is RU58841. Its a topical that competes against DHT to bind to the androgen receptors, what that means is if RU is attached to the androgen receptor then DHT can't harm the follicle. The problem with this is that the drug is fairly weak and its had mixed results at best. One of the drugs I'm using internally ( Cyproterone ) does the same thing but to a greater degree ( plus stops testosterone production, ect. )
For some people there is more to male pattern baldness than simply androgens, which is what seems to be the case for me.. But currently DHT is recognized as the main culprit for male pattern baldness so Anti androgens and DHT blockers are the go to treatments we use.

Dermarolling is used to create microwounds on the surface of the skin. It causes your skin to regenerate and build new, fresh cells which hopefully help grow new hairs. Its also used for better absorption of topicals like minoxidil and RU.

Oh interesting it's a shame theirs nobody who could discover or create a permanent solution. What exactly is dermarolling?

Read the bottom part of my last post. Its a quick summary of what it is. Its also used for stretch marks and wrinkles.. I swear by the stuff because I was fairly overweight a few years ago and had stretch marks on my stomach ( thankfully no loose skin! ) and by using a dermaroller they are pretty much gone! Not completely.. But alooot better than before.

The only side effect is your stretch marks will fade.
