Can you have sides on finasteride but not on dutasteride

I had sides on finasteride, my doctor switched me to dutasteride. I have yet to take it but wondering if it is possible to not have sides on it as opposed to finasteride. I figure if finasteride is not as harsh as dutasteride how could you have less sides?

If you had sides on finasteride, you will also have sides on dutasteride, and they will most likely be a lot more severe.
