Can You Have Temples Growing Back In A Bit But Top Of Head Continuing To Thin On Finasteride?

My temple has definitely thickened slightly on my right side and my left side appeared to after the first couple of months, but now not so much, but that could be shedding; but the top of my head - I'm not so sure, I think it's still thinning.

My head still itches on and off throughout the day, not insanely but I get transient burst numerous times a day, and I lose seemingly 40-50+ hairs when I gently run my hand through my hair to wash once every few days.

Anyone else have temples thicken back up a bit where there were faint-ish hairs but had continued loss on top, because I think it's me.

I think so. That's exactly my current situation. Started finasteride and minoxidil to regrow temples. Got some good regrowth initially, then started shedding, seemingly from the top and a tiny bit of diffused loss from sides and back. Funny thing is I never had that before. My temples are seeing vellus hairs pop up once again. Just hoping my shedding would ease up, but every time I eat a bunch of high calories unhealthy food the shedding returns.
