I'll try and keep this Short and Sweet!!

Main issue receeding hair line NW2 to 3.

Can't use propecia because:

After 3 months i suffered from testicular aches and pains, a crash in libido (wasn't interested in women!!!)....plus symptoms of prostatis.

Before this i used the liquid verison of minoxidil and got a very angry red scalp that was flaking and generally falling apart! (discontinued)

Sooo my new regime is:

1. A shaved head (Grade 1,2) which is liberating! till! you catch a glance of photos.
2. Regain Foam (Hoping this will reduce the inflammation i suffered from the liquid.
3. Aloe Vera Gel twice daily. (Purely becuase it feels good!)
4. Nizoral (20mg Version) every other day.

Advice on whether this is a mature and sensible approach would be welcome, plus anyone who has cut propecia in 1/2 and 1/4 and conquered the side effects would be great too!
Anyone tried something similar to this and got results??

Thank you for reading and hope to hear from some of you!
Plus anyone who is concerned about propecia and would like more details about my experience feel free to message me! I am the 2%.

Take Care and Enjoy life the Patrick Stewart way!!!

I'm in a similar situation. As far as I know, Rogaine won't really do anything about the balding process, although it you're lucky, it may give a little extra regrowth the first few years so that it may appear the balding has stopped or slowed. After that you'll go bald. So if you're willing to spend some more money, I'd replace the Rogaine with Revivogen or Proxiphen (my favorite). I do admit it's going to cost you a good chunk of money for something that is less proven than Propecia, though, so it's up to you whether you want your hair badly enough. I agree about how buzzing/shaving is liberating, and it also makes applying topicals very easy. I'm personally getting sick of the buzzed look, though. If you're thinning (as opposed to having significant bald areas), an alternative is to grow your hair out and use stuff like toppik or prothik. Just remember to wash the stuff out before applying topicals. Obviously this is going to cost more time and money, though.

blonidlocks, how long did it take for your libido to come back. I used Propecia for 3 months and just stopped a week ago. I feel a lot better but my libido still isn't back. How long did this take you?
