CB-03-01 vs. RU58841: Which one is more effective?

I have officially decided to try one of these fancy potent topical anti-androgens. I have currently been taking 0.5 mg of Dutasteride daily and has helped a lot. Though, I would like to add security to my scalp hair follicles. As effective Dutasteride is at inhibiting over 99+ percent of Type II DHT to keep Androgenetic Alopecia from progressing, the medication itself does absolutely nothing whatsoever to 'protect' the hair follicles from any other possible sensitivity.

Out of the two mentioned in the titled, I'll just state that RU58841 seems more promising, though I could be wrong. According to my research, RU58841 strongly keeps DHT and other androgens from binding to the androgen receptor, helps thicken existing hairs, helps promote more hair into the anagen phase, etc. I'm not sure about CB-03-01 as I myself personally cannot find much information and results about it.

Any experienced CB-03-01 and/or RU58841 users here? Can I please have an explanation about how each of the two treatments work from someone experienced? I'd like to learn more about these two treatments.

Please be patient with me, I currently do not know much about these two anti-androgens.

CB isn't widely available yet. Some people use it but its expensive and hard to get hold of so they have to use low doses which may not even be enough . CB is basically a side-free RU but since you have no sides from dutasteride then you should go ru, you can get 10g of RU for like $150 at AARC or anageninc

Do you use RU58841? If so, what percent solution do you use and how often?

I plan to create my own RU58841 vehicle using Everclear and Propylene Glycol. Would using a 2% solution of the treatment once a day be effective?

Yes I started using RU in December, been using it at 50-70mg a day mixed in Cerafill Retaliate as propylene glycol is too harsh for my scalp and its too expensive to keep importing kb solution in. I think 2% is a low dose but it might work, its trial and error to find your best dose, I think 5% is an average dose most people go for , some people even use 10%.

How has the treatment been going, have you been getting results?

Currently, I don't understand the whole ml and percent dosage. So you use 50-70 mg a day, would that be like a 5-7 percent solution of RU58841? I'm still confused about measuring the treatment and the vehicles.

So 2% seems too low for good results, 5% seems decently average, 10% would be excellent though probably don't need to go that high. Perhaps the 7-8 percent range solution would be optimal? It's hard to come to a conclusion on how much to use since there's really no optimal recommended dosage.

Yes correct if you want 5% solution weigh 50mg of RU using a 0.001g scale of Amazon or Ebay into any vehicle for every 1ml you use and that equals 5%, so 100mg in 1ml would be 10% etc. You can use pg/eth, kb or even generic minoxidil, just shake your vial and make sure the RU has dissolved in solution before you apply it.

Using 10% would only last 3 months , if you're on dutasteride you wouldn't need to go that high hopefully

I'm glad that your hair is doing better. I find it so annoying that some like us two for example who have stubborn aggressive male pattern baldness, we have to play around with many different treatments to know which one at what doses will actually help.

So weighing 50 mg of RU58841 for every 1 ml would make a 5% solution, weighing 100 mg for every 1 ml would make a 10% solution, so on and so forth. I'll be investing in proper supplies for proper treatment. I'm aware that I'll need to shake and stir the solution so the RU58841 will dissolve properly, thank you though for the advise.

I probably won't need to use a 10% solution because the Dutasteride is so strong, I probably won't need to go so high but should be greatly effective. If it's greatly effective at that dosage, I'll most likely stick with it since I would be happy with it.

I was considering group buying CB, but group buys come every year or so often (you'd only have a supply last for a certain amount of time). RU has a constant supply coming in most likely until other treatments are out so I have chosen that.

Hello I was wondering if RU is working well for you
I just switched from finasteride to dutasteride but I am afraid that it might not be enough to save what is left of my hair.
Is it worth having lets say 5 percent RU in addition to dutasteride or is dutasteride already doing all the leg work

I've currently been using a 10% solution of RU58841 for over two months now and has been working well for me. Using a 5% solution of RU58841 should be efficient. For some, Dutasteride is already good enough. Though if you really need your treatment to be quite anti-androgenic, then you can run both Dutasteride and RU58841 together. I've been using both treatments together and have had no side effects.

I have much less shedding from using RU58841. Not so much on new growth and hair thickening, I contribute those two from Minoxidil therapy.
