luke perry was balding on 90210 in the mid 90s. since he basically had the identical haircut. i think that's like maybe 2.5. certainly nothing major

here's luke perry now:

he always reminded me of james dean. he looks like nw3 now huh? still a great looking guy evne with the hair loss

what Norwood do you guys think? keep in mind he's also 40 years old. and according to bryan's theory he will bald more though, since he's still showing his triangles on the sides.

Its hard to see here, but if you've ever seen Lost, Dominique Monaghan is like my hero for receding hairline actors.

I'm thinking about getting my hair done like his on the show Lost...

Sadly I don't think I will even have the hairline for that.

What kind of hairstyle can I get if I have a NW2.5?

Post some pictures

He's one of the regulars on this site. He's pretty well know for his negative self image and thinking his hair loss is way worse than it really is. Taug is only the first half of his screenname. Look into the Impact of Hair Loss section and you'll find many threads started by him. Sorry. He's not a new treatment if that's what you thought.

So I'm getting my hair cut like this tomorrow. I think this cut is really cool and will work well with my hairline and large head. I'm pretty excited.

Ok, so after looking at my hair this morning, I'm noticing how much I've been shedding. All of my temple areas that were mildly thin are now insanely thin. I've basically gone from a Norwood 2 with minor thinning to a 3 with some frizz left over. Not so sure how well this cut will do for me anymore. A month ago, this would have worked fine. Also found that this photo was part of an entire shoot, and all of the other shots look like basically a full head of hair. Maybe it's just the angle and the way it's styled. I really have nothing good to say about finasteride because all I've done is shed a fuckload, and on top of that, my libido has been back in the gutter the past few days. I thought I was done with that sh*t. Anyways, I'll have to see how my hair looks after it's cut. Maybe it will look thicker than I expect since my hair is still pretty long. I'm wondering how much longer to give finasteride. I know I haven't been on it that long, but I feel like I'm going through all this shedding just so I will have to quit later due to sides. I thought I'd found a solution, but now I feel like I just can't win.

Yes, obviously balding, but due to his good looks and particularly the thickness of the rest of his hair it looks really damn good.

yea man liek i said in another post...his temples were gone but his hairline itself was thick and strong. And thats what makes the difference between appearing like your receding to an avg person or looking like u got nice hair. it wasnt "receding" in that his hairline was vanishing. he lost his temples...Beckham, McMahon all of whom have the same deal but have strong thick heads of hair

It's too short. My stylist actually had it longer on top originally, but I guess I freaked or something when I saw how short the sides were and asked her to cut the top shorter. I think I was faked out a little because my hair was wet and combed so it looked longer and weighed down. Now that it's dry, it's all poofy on top and I look like some preppy 80's soap opera guy. I hate it so far. Maybe it will grow in nicely.

That is not Dean's actual hairline. He shaved it far back for the film Giant, the last movie he was in. The film spans his character's life from a young adult to an old man, and for the scenes where he is playing a 60 or 70-something year old, he had his hair dyed gray and shaved back to make it appear to be receding, and this picture was obviously taken right near the end of his life as this would have been the time when he had his hairline shaved since he died very shortly after completing filming for Giant. Sorry to disappoint.
