From what i can tell, follica is dead, or dead quiet newish website.

Replicel has been bought buy big cosmetics, I'd argue this is bad news since a large company is more likely to pull the plug if they don't see a potential return (Like what happened to adreans), curing male pattern baldness is a risky investment and therefore quite a bad one when you look at the numbers. Even worse they could potentially sit on it as capital rather than sell it off in such a case.

and a hypothesis that pgd2 causes hairloss and DHT causes pgd2, good news if the model holds water, although the model claims that pgd2 is low in the nw8 area and high everywhere else, this model seems incompatible with the fact that hair transplants work since the model suggests that the moved hair should become loss when transplanted (ie moving from low pgd2 to high pgd2)

any new biotech i missed?.

Follicles are usually transplanted with a small amount of surrounding tissue which may act as a protective buffer.

It is actually quite the opposite.

Replecel sold the ability for Shisiedo to use the technology. Shisiedo will pay royalties on sales and will pay when sales caps hit a certain point. Replecel is performing their own phase 2 trials in Europe and Shisiedo is performing theirs in Asia. Shisiedo paid $4.2 M for the licensing agreement and I believe the first cap is $320 M. Shisiedo also built a seperate research facility for RCH-01 for the Replicel technology. A lot of money invested in something that's a fail or sham. I do not think so.bthe best part so at no side effects in phase 1. That pajase was just for safety. Only a few injection. Average hair growth was 20%. With more injections and a Pete toon of the technology I think we have s Merging here.
