Well alot of guys here might say it has little to no effect. But to be honest, there's much bigger reasons to why you'd want to be healthier other than helping hairloss. And you rather be a fit balding guy than a fat balding guy.

Personally I do believe that there may be some relation as I've seen more fat and bald guys than fit and bald guys, but hey, correlation doesn't equal causation.

i realize losing weight is the right thing to do, im just wondering if people can give me some evidence that weight loss caused positive hair growth effects like not losing anymore hair, losing it slower, or regrowing hair

Indirectly, yes, I think it does benefit if you're suffering from a hair loss cause that involves stress. My hair regrowth accelerated recently when I began doing two cardio sessions a day. I have atopic dermatitis and I also found the exercise helps with my other atopic symptoms. I guess people with telogen effluvium might also see some improvements from exercise.

As for androgenetic alopecia? Don't think so. All this "increased blood flow" stuff doesn't make sense. Why would increased blood flow nourish your follicles when it's the very presence of androgens in the blood that would cause shrinkage?

As aj said, there's more important things than hair loss at the end of the day, like preventing cancer and having more energy.

because from what ive read it reduces free test as well as dht. so it effectively would be flushing your scalp with lower dht and test

because hair is the primary reason you should be excercising/changing your diet?

Reducing your weight and improving your cardiovascular health will also reduce your chances of getting ED.

My first and only thought about this ridiculous thread. The **** is wrong with Americans.
