I'm pretty sure NewUser is that "nasa_rs" JAK super fan from hairlosscure2020
Nope. And I think more people need to become uber fans of science instead of placing any faith whatsoever in anonymous people posting juvenile comments.
Some people never cease to amaze me. Everything you say speaks for yourself really. Like I said more thinking would do you good. It's amazing you are that much older than me but speak like a 18 year old. Regarding university, I have been pretty blessed. I finished c*m laude through the highest possible education in my country with relatively little effort. Then again it says nothing. There are many many people that are way smarter than you and me without any education whatsoever.
Argumentum ad verecundiam. But even then the funny thing is that Cotsarelis, Brett King and Hoffman give JAK's literally little to no chance of working. Hoffman, who is considered a elite hair follicle biology scientist in the field literally gives it a 1/10 chance of working. There's that.
I just have to point out in your quote that an "ELITE HAIR FOLLICLE BIOLOGOY SCIENTIST" gave it a 1/10 chance.... You realize that means that even an "ELITE SCIENTIST", which you praise, can't predict with 100% certainty that a topical formulation will work, right?
Does it look good from photos showing people still have Androgenetic Alopecia pattern after regrowing hair? Well, no obviously not any ignoramous with a bad spray tan could tell you that, but there's still a chance and if people want to be hopeful let them. Take your broscience and ridiculous claims that you know it won't work 100% b/c you did the "research" elsewhere. You're just a meathead that thinks he is a PhD b/c he can say 99.9% of products won't be a cure. Anyone can do that b/c most of these things don't work out. It doesn't make you right about anything.
No, I know with 100% certainty actually. Science doesn't lie. And lay down the hardcore drugs, they are bad for your mental health.
Lol I can't wait until this sh*t doesn't work, as everyone said it wouldn't for Androgenetic Alopecia, and then watch all these people vanish forever.

Yea, it probably won't work. It's not looking good, but people need to stop acting like they know everything and have all the answers. The fact is no one knows for sure, we can make educated guesses, but until it's tried NO ONE knows 100%.
I wouldn't be making any bets on this that's for sure.
It probably won't work for Androgenetic Alopecia but i am sure Everyone would prefer it actually does work even if it proved them wrong.
Not at all, but seriously, stop saying science doesn't lie, because you are literally lying and trying to quote science. You sound like an idiot.
He could be legit. I think he said he graduated with magnus opus lauder distinction from What's the Matter U. or some such.
“We are going to develop a topical JAK inhibitor we know that a systemic JAK inhibitor doesn’t work in this indication. And there is actually a pretty good reason for that. You can’t achieve the right concentration… When you think about the drug going through the superficial dermal plexus, it can’t migrate up to the hair follicle bulge. So in AA it works because it works at the hair follicle bulb which is deeper down and more accessible through systemic circulation. Drugs don’t normally migrate up, so you have through the opposite way and go topically through the hair follicle, and we have actually shown this through pre-clinical models. ”
The almost evolutionary pessimism of people that suffer hairloss is unerstandable. But saying it will probably won't work without any knowledge is ridiculous.
Before the deal with Aclaris was struck, she said there would have to be a delivery method designed to allow the drug to penetrate human scalp with a layer of fat and several thicknesses or skin. Human skin is quite a bit thicker than that of mice. Also, the drug can't be properly tested if it penetrates but stays around the area of follicles for only 5 minutes. It will take some creative expertise to design a topical that will do the job. Have faith in science to tell us if jax can do anything for Androgenetic Alopecia. Anything less is conjecture and heresay and not worth much.
No one knows why at this point. Right now I think scientists are still amazed that he grew back any hair and especially so because he was suffering from two completely different types of alopecias not just one.
Im meeting with one of Christianos research partners who is also a general dermatologist Monday at Columbia U to try and get a more clear diagnosis.. i will ask her about the topical vs the oral.
Long term Androgenetic Alopecia does cause atrophy or fibrosis..Basically long term Androgenetic Alopecia can become scaring over time.
I only know this because i just did so much research on scarring alopecia and they say sometimes the pathology it can look like long term Androgenetic Alopecia with the fibrous fibers. I am assuming that is scar tissue. (I'm not a science person).
