Tried this a few times and it really does leave your hair and scalp nourished.

Heat the oil/butter up so it's liquid, not boiling, not cold.

Rub into scalp and hair strand.

The oil nourishes scalp and holds moisture in the hair.

Anyone else have info / experience on this?

By the way I had my hair cut today and my hairdresser askd what shampoo I was using, I told her that Alepecian caffine stuff, and she said need to stop as my scalp was ful of dandruff and red as well as dry.

I got some anti dandruff shampoo (H&S) and will use coconut oil over night occasionaly.

Sorry to be abrupt but what has coconut oil got to do with hair loss?

Coconut oil acts as a natural moisturiser. Without all the added chemicals.

You can rub a small amount into scalp and hair after washing, and leave for a few hours to all night or all day.

Suppose it could make your scalp more 'nourished' and healthier holding onto hairs. I am no scientist, just read it, tried it and thought it felt great afterwards.

You can even use it on your skin after a hot shower/bath, try it after shaving! Rub on to your fresh face after rinsing with hot water and let the oil soak into your skin. You will feel 12 all over again.

I was thinking of trying some oils myself to help thicken my hair, need to do a bit more research on it though.
