Cold turkey Finasteride disaster

I was on Finasteride for 4 months and due to side effects decided to stop cold turkey. After 3 weeks my scalp became intensely itchy and I lost a massive amount of hair all over my head (about half) in a space of 2 weeks.

Is that normal for Cold turkey Finasteride?

yup, happened to me after a 2 month break of taking it 7 or 8 months.

Been back on for about 2 weeks I'm still shedding more hair than usual, hope it stops soon.
