Cold Weather VS Warm Weather?

I was wondering, during could weather, is it more likely hair is going to grow or shed? What about in the summer? It makes senses that hair would grow more in the winter since it's mostly for warmth, and shed during summer since it's arleady warm..... But then again, the cold causes less ciruclation to the extremeties and so that makes me wonder what happens. Anyone know? (By cold, i mean snow, freezing 0 degrees F, which is what I'm in NOW!!)

I don't notice any effect in the winter or summer... but I have noticed a regular tendency of my own scalp to undergo a significant shed during the autumn.
