Color of Proxiphen

has anyone gotten any results off this stuff?

Shane, the color of your Proxiphen is normally what it looks like. I just got mine a few weeks ago. I think by him packing alot of chemicals into the white vehicle it slightly precipitated to the color you see when you get it. When Dr Proctor first was using the vehicle it came as a more white color. I think he prefers it to precipitate slightly and hence it will not give that pure white color. I was using the liquid version which is easier to apply but is not as powerful as the cream. With the liquid you have to apply it twice per day. I only did it once per day. I have been back on the cream again for almost 6 weeks and I notice a difference in effectiveness. My hair has thickened faster and I shed alot less now. I will stick to the cream for now on. As it ages it will take on more of a light brown color and that is normal. I would rather invest in Proxiphen than RU. Alot of people are experimenting with RU but I will stick to my Proxiphen because now I know it works good and I don't get any sides from it. Plus it has given me some new growth which I don't think RU will give.

I have been using Proxiphen for a few years. There was a point where he changed the vehicle of the cream. It was almost a pure white color but he was able to get the chemicals to precipitate so its no longer pure white. You can email him and he will explain it. As far as the liquid version, it can be made by request only. It is the prescription version and not Prox-n. He will put you on a list that he will make the liquid version of Proxiphen if you want. Personally, the liquid is easier to apply but you have to do it twice per day. I still think the cream is slightly more effective in my opinion. I just need to use it near the frontal area and hairline so the cream seems easy enough to apply in those places.

I realize you mention its your personal opinion but I recollect asking Dr. Proctor sometime ago if there is any difference in effectiveness between the cream and liquid version of Proxiphen and he clearly mentioned there is no difference. I am a diffuse thinner all over the top and I need a liquid version too specially to apply to frontal areas and the cream is hard to apply since you have to take a comb part your hair and then apply and still a lot of cream will stick to the hair without getting to the root. I am experiencing this with spironolactone cream right now. Liquid is so much easier with a dropper.
Anyways, Have you used his Proxiphen N before you started on proxiphen ?? I've been using Proxiphen N for about 4 years now and its working okay for me for now. I get those phases where my hair looked thinned out/ scalp showing in one part of the scalp and then a week later it looks filled up but a week later another area is thinned out and so on.
I want to move up to Proxiphen but its cost prohibitive. More importantly I am unsure it will give twice as good results as proxiphen N since its twice as costly.
If it does then I'll happily jump onto it. Do you shed while on Proxiphen ? and did you get any "re-growth" for it ? propecia and proxiphen N are currently the mainstays of my regimen. spironolactone and Tricomin are sidekicks.

The cream used once daily is stronger than the liquid if you use the liquid once daily. Its based on my own experience. I know he said twice per day liquid of Proxiphen is about as effective as once per day of the cream but I did not want to have to use the liquid twice per day. I started on Proxiphen without using Prox-n. I went for the powerful stuff since I was hoping to ween off Propecia when I first started it. However, I decided to stay on Propecia since I don't have any life altering sides. I get periods of time where I shed more than others but recently since I switched to the cream my shedding has decreased significantly and my hair has improved too. Yes, I am getting regrowth too. But nothing I would call spectacular.

Proxiphen has spironolactone in it so it has anti-androgen properties.
