Hey Guys

I'm new to the site and I gotta say I really love it. Finally seems like I've found a good place with some sensible and scientifically backed treatment options. I have used finast before but I stopped since 4 months and started homeopathy(terrible decision, I know) and now I've finally decided to ditch it cuz after doing some extensive research on it I didn't find any conclusive evidence that said it helps in hair loss.

Anyways I'm 20 with a receding hairline at the temples and thinning hair at the crown(have been experiencing hair loss since 17). Probably an NW2 or 3. I've just started treatment of finasteride + nizoral 2% and minoxidil 5%. Aside from thinning hair my hair are also really frizzy and stand up in all sorts of weird directions especially at the crown. I've never used conditioner my whole life and am planning on starting one, but I don't know which one to use/which one will best complement the current treatment I'm using. What are your guys opinions on this?

Thanks.

Tricomin looks nice but it's 31 dollars for 8 ounces.
That's 500 dollars a gallon.

I would pick a volumizing conditioner from target or walmart. #propaganda commencing: I liked pantane pro v volumizing.

Now I don't use any conditioner. But my hair is short. I still rotate pantane pro v volumizing when I want my hair to appear thicker. #propaganda ended.

I would consider using Regenepure NT. I have had some good results using it with the Regenepure DR. It made my hair thicker and also conditioned.

I bought both of the regene shampoos 6 months ago but haven't had the chance to use them yet. My three bottles
of nizoral are still being used. It takes
forever to go through those bottles!

Hey tricomin isn't available in my area so I've decided to use SebaMed Shampoo and conditioner. Thanks for the replies anyway. A few more questions though(sorry if I'm being ignorant):

1. I'm using nizoral 2% 2-3 times a week. Can I use SebaMed shampoo and conditioner on ALL the other days(effectively I'm using some sort of shampoo 7 days a week). Is this bad?

2. Is it okay to use conditioner without using shampoo?

3. If not SebaMed, which other shampoo/conditioner do you recommend?

Thanks.

I was so freaking lucky. I bought some of the Regenepure Biotin conditioner and tried it before they sold it out, it is a really good conditioner and perfect for combating hair loss. But the only problem they are backordered on the product for a long time.

I use redken shampoo (the volumizing one), and their conditioner as well. Idk, for me personally, it makes my hair look 2x as thick and you cant tell I have hair loss, except a bit on my crown.
