Just as with skin moisturizers, what works well varies from person to person as each person's hair has different characteristics, environmental factors, and lifestyle factors. A conditioner that works wonderfully for one person's hair might make another person's hair curly, or greasy.

It is good to get advice from people on what is generally good, but I suggest experimenting with several until you find one that fits.

In my experience with shampoo's and conditioners I've learned to stay away from cheap and/or heavily perfumed products....

is Aveda a good natural brand?

Aveda is some of the best hair styling products I have ever used. Fantastic spray gell, I use the Sap Moss. It's expensive stuff but worth every penny.

My God I hate walking into that store though, they bombard you with

"Would you like some soothing tea?"

"Would you like to sign up for our birthday mailer?"

"Would you sign up for our enviromental preserve list?"

and 3 or 4 more questions.....all within 1 minute. I do the same thing every time I buy a bottle, I keep my head down not making eye contact mumbling "no", go straight to the wall, grab it and dart for the counter to get hassled with more questions.
