Considering a hairline transplant

This propecia stuff is working pretty well for my density, I'll say that much, I've gained alot while being on it. The problem is my hairline, it's definitely not getting any better. In fact, I think it's slowly getting worse. I'm gonna need to do something about it, cuz I just don't feel good about my hairline any longer. I'm seriously considering a transplant. What do you guys think?

go for it, you might die tomorrow, or in 2 years

don't delay your gratification for fear of the future or you'll never be happy

If finasteride won't work, then hell yeah go for it if you have the $. As simple as it is, more hair changes your outlook on life

Gees Deaner, even though hairtransplants have come a long ways since they first came out, I'm still not impressed by allot of what I see. Some docs start from the back to the front when they transplant the hair. I think that this is a wise move INSTEAD of starting at the HAIRLINE. What if you start losing more hair around where the HAIRLINE transplant was done? Then what you have is this awesome growth of hair at your hairline BUT no hair behind it! That looks horrible in my book! Hairtransplants have their place but I've got serious questions about when they try to restore the hairline:(

Just Remember...

When you make the decision to get a hair transplant, you're pretty much giving in that you'll end up getting more than one. What I mean is: You will continue to lose hair in other areas, so eventually you'll have to fill in those areas as well. If not, you'll get that strange look with hair in the front, but very little in the crown.

I believe hair transplants can look very natural with the right Dr., but it's a tough commitment to make.

Good Luck in whatever decision you make!

I know, it's such a dilemma though, my hairline is brutal, I'm not very happy with my hairline. And the bad thing is the rest of my hair is pretty damn awesome. Not 100% original density, but pretty damn awesome. Arrrgh for hairline loss...

my density overall is restoring well but my hairline is way far from satisfactory

if i get a hair transplant then its gonna be for the rest of my life down that route - i dunno if i wanna do that
