Considering Finsasteride

I am strongly considering starting a finasteride regimen, but my only concern is the potential for side effects.

Reading this forum, you would think that %50 percent or more of the people that try finasteride experience some side effects. Merck claims that its closer to 2%.

So whats the deal here? Please respond if you have taken finasteride for any amount of time.

*Please don't move this to 'dealing with side effects,' because I already know that people posting in there have them.

People with side effects get online, people that have no change in their body go on with their life. Thats how easy it is.

Internet probably brings more side effects than anything else.

Of course some get side effects, but these often go away after time, or if you change to 1mg every other day or 0,5mg every day. Just start slow with 0.25mg and up it for a week or two until you are at the dose you want.

been on finasteride (on/off actually as I believed the side effects hype) for about 10 years and I'm fine.

Try it for yourself and remember the poster by the name of "MEW" runs a propecis side effects website which has been around for about 7 years now and has MAYBE 15 active members.
